ABOUT DAVID PERRICO

David Perrico: Trumpet Soloist, Composer, Producer, and Conductor is a native of Youngstown, Ohio and earned a B.M. from Youngstown State University and M.M. from UNLV in Jazz Studies / Composition. Since relocating to Las Vegas in 2004, Perrico has become one of the city’s most in-demand musicians and a Las Vegas Review-Journal “Best of Las Vegas” award winner. In 2021, Perrico’s all-star ensemble became the Official NFL RAIDERS HOUSE BAND at Allegiant Stadium, where he currently serves as Music Director/Conductor. In 2025, the Raiders House Band was honored with a prestigious Bronze Clio Award.

David has performed internationally with the legendary Tommy Dorsey Orchestra as soloist and Road Manager and has performed with artists including Kool & The Gang, Sammy Hagar, Earth, Wind & Fire, Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick, Olivia Newton-John, Vanessa Williams, Adele, Barry Manilow, and numerous others. Perrico has also served as Music Director and lead trumpet for Paul Shaffer at Caesars Palace Las Vegas and worked as Adjunct Faculty in UNLV Jazz Studies. As a composer, he has received two national awards for his original orchestral compositions “Archetype Dance” and “Fanfare of Light.” His extensive career also includes performances with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Youngstown Symphony, and Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, along with recording, television, film score, and production credits.

Perrico is the creator and producer of Pop Strings Orchestra, the powerhouse ensemble that has enjoyed residencies throughout Las Vegas and evolved into the Las Vegas Raiders House Band at Allegiant Stadium. His newest creation, Pop Symphonic, takes that signature sound to an even larger scale, plugging Perrico’s Las Vegas Pop Strings Orchestra into full symphony orchestras to create a unique, dynamic, high-energy musical experience. Led by Perrico’s powerful trumpet and electrifying arrangements, his ensembles move seamlessly through Pop, Rock, Latin, Jazz, EDM, Classical, R&B, and original compositions. From stadiums to concert halls, Perrico continues to transform traditional orchestral music into an exciting contemporary experience for audiences of all ages.
