David Perrico recently joined ARC Las Vegas to talk about the Raiders House Band as the 19-piece ensemble prepares for its sixth season bringing live music to Allegiant Stadium.

As conductor and trumpeter of the official Raiders House Band, David shared a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create the soundtrack for an NFL game in real time. With a roughly 50-page game-day script, the band must be ready to respond at a moment's notice, performing precisely timed musical cues, collaborating with the Raiderettes, and helping create the energy and atmosphere of Raider Nation.

David also discussed how the band's role has evolved since its first season, including increasingly ambitious halftime collaborations with guest artists such as Sammy Hagar, Kool & the Gang, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Each performance requires custom arrangements and careful timing, with David writing and orchestrating multiple versions of songs that can be called throughout the game.

Now heading into another season, David says performing for more than 65,000 fans at Allegiant Stadium "never gets old."
