David Perrico Talks Raiders House Band and the 2026 Season on The MORE Show
David Perrico returned to The MORE Show Las Vegas on August 20, 2026, for a look behind the scenes of the Raiders House Band and what fans can expect as another season gets underway at Allegiant Stadium.
As leader of the 19-piece all-star ensemble, David and the Raiders House Band have become an integral part of the home game experience, performing throughout each game, collaborating with the Raiderettes, and joining an impressive lineup of guest artists for unforgettable halftime performances.
David shared some of what goes into making those performances happen, including arranging and condensing an artist's biggest hits into custom nine- or ten-minute halftime shows. Sometimes, there's very little rehearsal time. He recalled working with Sammy Hagar, who flew into Las Vegas, performed the halftime show with the band without a rehearsal, then headed right back out on his jet.
Other memorable collaborations have included Ice Cube, Ludacris, Kool & the Gang, and Earth, Wind & Fire. David called performing with Earth, Wind & Fire a particularly surreal moment, having been a longtime fan of the legendary group.
The 2026 season is already off to an exciting start. During the Raiders' first preseason game, Aaron Bruno of AWOLNATION joined the House Band for a high-energy halftime performance.
Beyond the halftime shows, the band provides live music throughout the entire game, with performances precisely timed to fit 20-second, 30-second, one-minute, and other cues. David also discussed the band's in-game collaborations with the Raiderettes, who perform on the field while the House Band plays live from its home near the Al Davis Memorial Torch.
While every Raiders home game brings something different, David emphasized that creating the experience is a true team effort, from the musicians and performers to the production, sound, technical, and stage crews working behind the scenes.
Above all, the goal remains the same: support the Raiders and give Raider Nation an incredible game-day experience.
